Dialysis Center to Resume Treatments Tuesday Following Early Morning Fire Response in Troy

TROY, Mo. — Patients at the Lincoln County Dialysis Center will receive treatment Tuesday after an early morning fire response temporarily closed the facility Monday.
Emergency crews were dispatched around 4:35 a.m. Monday to the Fresenius Kidney Care dialysis center near Highway 47 and Lincoln Center after reports of a possible structure fire. Firefighters located light smoke inside the building, with the incident believed to involve an air conditioning unit. Crews remained on scene while the situation was investigated.
Lincoln CountyWatch contacted the dialysis center Monday morning to confirm whether treatments would continue as scheduled.
A staff member confirmed the facility will remain closed Monday, with all patients rescheduled for treatment Tuesday. The staff member also said everyone is safe but was not authorized to provide additional details regarding the incident.
The Lincoln County Dialysis Center normally operates on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday treatment schedule.
No injuries have been reported, and officials have not released any additional information regarding the cause of the incident.
