Brace Yourself: Vehicle Strikes Front of Troy Orthodontics Office

TROY, MO — Emergency crews responded after a vehicle crashed into the front entrance of an orthodontics office in Troy early Thursday evening.

The incident occurred sometime around 6:15 and 6:30 p.m. at Hewitt Orthodontics, located in Troy. Photos from the scene show damage concentrated at the front door area of the business.

According to information monitored at the scene, the Lincoln County Fire Protection District, Troy Police Department, and Lincoln County Ambulance District all responded. Fire and EMS personnel assessed the situation and cleared the scene relatively quickly. No apparent injuries reported.

The front entrance was boarded up overnight following a vehicle collision at a Troy orthodontics office Thursday evening.

Law enforcement remained on scene as the incident was handled. A tow truck arrived and immediately began working to remove the vehicle from the entrance while officers continued their investigation. By the time crews began wrapping up, the scene appeared stable.
