
Armed Robbery at Elsberry Business Leaves Employee Injured; Suspects Sought

ELSBERRY, Mo. — Law enforcement is investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday evening at a vape shop in the 500 block of Broadway in Elsberry.

According to authorities, the incident took place just after 7:00 p.m. when three unidentified, masked suspects entered the business. During the robbery, an employee was shot.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and has since been released, officials confirmed.
Law enforcement responded quickly to the scene, but investigators say the suspects fled the area prior to officers’ arrival and are believed to have left the immediate vicinity.
During the initial response, Rick Harrell confirmed to Lincoln CountyWatch that the incident was being actively investigated and that law enforcement was following up on leads related to the suspects.
Since then, the Elsberry Police Department and the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office have released additional information and images from surveillance video showing the suspects involved in the robbery. The images are being shared publicly in an effort to identify those responsible.

Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the individuals, their clothing, or who may have information related to the incident to contact law enforcement.
