Lincoln County Suspect Accused of Assault and Cutting Off Calls for Help
LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. — An overnight domestic disturbance ended with an arrest and accusations that the violence extended beyond the assault itself—taking away the means to leave or call for help.
The suspect remains in custody on a $15,000 cash-only bond.
Travis McNatt, Warrenton, Mo

CHARGES
Domestic assault, fourth degree — Class A misdemeanor
Property damage, second degree — Class B misdemeanor
The disturbance began late October 7, after McNatt reportedly returned uninvited to a residence he had moved out of approximately a month earlier.
An argument turned physical. The victim reported that McNatt struck her repeatedly in the face, threw her to the ground and kicked her in the ribs and face.
The reported assault was followed by another obstacle: missing phones and vehicle keys. She said McNatt took them, preventing her from leaving or contacting someone for help.

Later, while McNatt was in another room, she recovered her phone and keys. She left the residence and called 911 from a nearby gas station.
Deputies responded around 3:26 a.m. October 8. They documented bruising and redness around both eyes and photographed her injuries. She declined medical attention at the scene.
Back at the residence, deputies found McNatt sitting on the front porch. He denied committing an assault.
Inside and around the home, deputies documented a broken security camera, a damaged phone, broken picture frames and torn photographs. A bedroom was also in disarray.
McNatt was arrested and taken to the Lincoln County Jail.

He faces two misdemeanor charges: fourth-degree domestic assault and second-degree property damage. His bond conditions prohibit contact with the victim.
The case is scheduled for an initial arraignment October 13 before Judge Michael R. Jacobs.
