TROY, Mo. — The Troy Area Chamber of Commerce has announced Jennifer “Jeni” Sherbanenko as its new executive director and will welcome the community to an open house Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
“We are excited to welcome Jeni to the Troy Chamber,” said Taylor Cox, Troy Chamber Board President. “Our Chamber has a strong foundation thanks to those who came before us and we’re excited to build on that success. As Lincoln County grows, it’s important that our Chamber continues to evolve and deliver meaningful benefits to our members. Jeni’s local knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment to our business community make her the right person to help accelerate that effort.”
Sherbanenko brings a passion for relationship-building, community engagement and organizational guidance. A resident of Troy, Sherbanenko’s most recent role was as a Pastoral Counselor at Journey Church. Prior to that role, she worked in Practice Management and Healthcare Administration.
She holds a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelors in Healthcare Administration.

“It’s an honor to work on behalf of our strong, growing and diverse business community,” said Sherbanenko. “I look forward to connecting with Chamber members, local businesses and community leaders while continuing the Chamber’s mission of fostering a strong, vibrant business environment throughout Troy and the surrounding area.”
Working alongside the Chamber’s Board of Directors, Sherbanenko will focus on enhancing member value and supporting local businesses through meaningful resources, education and collaboration with partner organizations.
The Chamber also supports the administration of the Troy Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Sherbanenko will play a vital role with those efforts.
