The incident occurred on yesterday on May 3 when officers with the Troy Police Department were dispatched to Mercy Lincoln Hospital for a combative subject inside the emergency room.

Hospital staff reported the situation escalated when Aske, who appeared to be under the influence, became uncooperative while receiving treatment. Due to his condition, staff attempted to keep him in bed for his safety, but he reportedly refused to comply.

During the encounter, Aske is accused of grabbing a hospital security staff member and striking them in the head with a closed fist.

Officers on scene then moved in to gain control, placing him into custody.

While being escorted, court documents state Aske continued to resist and allegedly kicked an officer before being fully secured.

Investigators also noted Aske has prior active warrants, contributing to concerns he may be a flight risk.

The incident remains under investigation.

All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
