The warning reached Warrenton police Oct. 2 through the Missouri Information Analysis Center, commonly known as MIAC. The agency had received information about threatening messages attributed to Connor’s YouTube account.
The messages threatened to kill an unidentified person on Halloween before carrying out shootings at five locations in Warrenton. Walmart was specifically named as one of the intended locations.
The messages also indicated that Connor had developed a plan, but the court filing does not provide additional details about that plan or identify the other four locations.
Warrenton police searched the area while working to locate Connor. He ultimately surrendered voluntarily and was taken to the police department, where he admitted sending the threatening messages.
Connor was arrested at approximately 10:54 p.m. Oct. 2. Judge Jonathan Yelton signed the felony warrant the following day.
The case is filed in Warren County Circuit Court under number 26BB-CR00733. No shootings or injuries connected to the threats were reported in the supplied records.
