A stolen Old Monroe Public Works truck was returned approximately six and a half hours later. Surveillance footage, license plate readers and a traffic stop helped build a case against three defendants. Two are in custody.

A pursuit involving a pickup traveling more than 130 mph ended with a suspect crashing near Highland Prairie Road. Before officers located the suspect, an unrelated driver struck the sergeant’s patrol car.
