“I’ll Cut Off Your Legs And Watch You Bleed Out”

Troy, Mo. — A Foley man remains in the Lincoln County Jail after being accused of making repeated threats against a family member, including threatening to “cut off” the victim’s legs, watch the victim bleed out, and chop the victim into pieces.

Smith remains in custody on a $10,000 cash-only bond. Conditions of release include no contact with the alleged victim, GPS monitoring prior to release, and compliance with prescribed medications. No future court date was listed at the time of publication.

Charges:

• Domestic Assault – 4th Degree – 1st Or 2nd Offense

The charge stems from an incident reported yesterday, June 9.

During the investigation, Smith was accused of making a series of graphic threats toward a family member. The allegations describe threats that had continued over several weeks and had become increasingly severe.


When officers arrived, they found the family member visibly shaken. The investigation notes the threats had escalated to statements about cutting off the victim’s legs, watching the victim bleed out, and chopping the victim into pieces.


Law enforcement had also responded to previous disturbances involving Smith and the family member.


Court documents show the court ordered Smith to remain compliant with prescribed medications as a condition of release if bond is posted.


Smith was arrested and transported to the Lincoln County Jail, where he remains in custody.
