A pursuit involving a pickup traveling more than 130 mph ended with a suspect crashing near Highland Prairie Road. Before officers located the suspect, an unrelated driver struck the sergeant’s patrol car.

An Illinois man faces a felony charge after authorities say he rear-ended a vehicle on Highway 61, fled on foot and was found approximately two hours later more than two miles from the crash.
