Foley Man Charged After Domestic Disturbance, $20,000 Cash-Only Bond Set

FOLEY, Mo. — A domestic disturbance in Lincoln County Tuesday evening led to the arrest of a Foley man now facing multiple charges after deputies say the situation escalated inside the home while children were present.

Troy David Fabing

Charges:

• Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree (Felony D)

• Resisting/Interfering with Arrest (Misdemeanor A)

• Endangering the Welfare of a Child – 2 counts

• Property Damage

A warrant has been issued with a $20,000 cash-only bond and conditions including no contact with the alleged victim, GPS monitoring prior to release, alcohol monitoring, and a prohibition from entering establishments where the primary sale is alcohol. Fabing is currently in custody.

Deputies were dispatched around 5 p.m. on Tuesday in reference to a reported domestic disturbance.

When deputies arrived, the alleged victim reported that an argument had turned physical inside the residence. Authorities say she told deputies she was pushed into walls within the home, choked while on the ground, and feared she was about to be struck before she was able to get away.

Investigators observed damage inside the home consistent with a struggle, including broken items and a damaged television. Two juvenile children were reportedly inside the residence during the incident.

Fabing was located at a nearby residence. When deputies attempted to take him into custody, authorities say he resisted by tensing his arms and grabbing onto a handrail before eventually being secured.

He was transported for medical clearance and later booked into the Lincoln County Jail.

Fabing is scheduled to appear at 9:30 a.m. on February 26, 2026, in Associate Division III of the Lincoln County Circuit Court.

A charge is merely an accusation. All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
