TROY, Mo. — Eight emergency responses in 11 days have led to another criminal case against a Troy woman who is already facing similar charges in Lincoln County.
Linda Jean Deal, of Troy, Missouri

Charges
• Misuse of Emergency Telephone Service
Emergency personnel from the Lincoln County Ambulance District, Lincoln County Fire Protection District and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to eight separate incidents involving Deal between Feb. 23 and March 5.
The calls included reports of anxiety, heart palpitations, breathing difficulties, alcohol-related concerns and other medical complaints.
Several of the incidents resulted in Deal refusing treatment or transportation after emergency personnel arrived.
The responses occurred on Feb. 23, Feb. 24, Feb. 28, March 1, March 2, March 4 and March 5, with multiple responses occurring on some of those dates.
Authorities documented signs of alcohol intoxication during most of the incidents reviewed as part of the investigation.
The newly filed case is not the first involving similar allegations.
Deal is also facing a separate pending Lincoln County case involving two counts of Misuse of Emergency Telephone Service tied to incidents from October and November 2024.
That earlier case alleges repeated 911 calls over a period of several weeks that resulted in numerous responses from emergency personnel throughout the county.
A warrant was issued in the newest case on June 25, and Deal was subsequently taken into custody.
No future court dates had been scheduled in either case as of June 26.
