Candidate Bio:
Preston Gebhart is a candidate for Troy Alderman, Ward 1, in the April 7, 2026 municipal election. He will be 48 years old at the time of the election and has been a resident of Troy for the past nine years. Preston and his wife, Kelly, are raising their family in Troy. Together, they have six children, three of whom attend school in the Troy R-III School District. They also have four grandchildren.
Gebhart has dedicated nearly 25 years to law enforcement and currently serves as a lieutenant with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department. Through his career, he has developed experience in leadership, accountability, and public service.
He has expressed interest in serving on the Troy Board of Aldermen to contribute his experience and represent the residents of Ward 1 as the city continues to grow.
