Candidate Bio
Robert Roskowske III is seeking another two-year term as Ward 1 Alderman in Winfield, Missouri. He has lived in Winfield since 2015. Robert was first elected as Alderman for Ward 2, serving from 2018 to 2021. Following a ward boundary change in December 2021, he began serving Ward 1 in 2022 and continues in that role today.
During his time in office, Roskowske has been involved in updating city ordinances, the City of Winfield website, and the general code. He has also worked on seeking grant funding for the city. If re-elected, he plans to continue updating local ordinances, addressing infrastructure needs, and responding to other needs within the community.
Outside of municipal service, Roskowske has worked for Mercy for 11 years and is a writer. He was born and raised in Jefferson County, Missouri, where he completed his high school education in 2004. He is active at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Old Monroe. Robert has been married for four years and has a dog named Josie.
