Semi Rollover, Fuel Spill Shut Down Northbound Highway 61 In Troy

Troy, Mo. — A crash involving a semi truck and pickup truck has shut down northbound Highway 61 near Watson Road in Troy Monday morning.

Initial reports indicate the semi rolled into the median following the collision. Injuries have been confirmed, and emergency crews were conducting extrication efforts at the scene.


Fuel leaking from the semi has also been reported.


Northbound Highway 61 remains closed while emergency crews, tow operators, and cleanup personnel work the scene. Southbound Highway 61 remains open.


Due to the crash, vehicle recovery operations, and reported fuel spill, the closure is expected to last for an extended period of time.
