The City of Troy will hold municipal elections on April 7, 2026.

Offices on the Ballot

The following offices will appear on the ballot for the City of Troy municipal election on April 7, 2026. Term lengths and descriptions are based on the City’s official election notice.

MAYOR

Term: 4 years
Representation: Citywide
Office Type: Executive / Presiding Officer

The Mayor is elected citywide and serves as the chief elected official for the City of Troy. The Mayor presides over meetings of the Board of Aldermen and represents the city in official and ceremonial matters.

Requirements:
Candidates must be at least 25 years old, a United States citizen, and a resident of the City of Troy for at least one year immediately prior to the election and at the time of filing.
