Troy, Mo. — What was supposed to be a simple online meetup to sell a PlayStation instead turned into an armed robbery investigation that has now landed two Hawk Point suspects behind bars in Lincoln County.
Authorities allege the victim arrived in Troy carrying a PlayStation 4, video games, shoes, a jacket, and other items connected to the arranged sale before being confronted by multiple armed suspects.
The victim was allegedly forced out while firearms were pointed directly at him as the suspects took the property and fled from the scene.

Investigators allege multiple firearms were involved during the robbery, including AR-style pistols and a handgun.
As detectives pieced together the investigation, authorities connected the suspects to the robbery through interviews and evidence gathered during the case.
The robbery itself was allegedly coordinated through Snapchat before the victim arrived for the meetup.
Authorities say the stolen property included the PlayStation 4, games, shoes, jacket, and additional items brought to the sale.
Both suspects were arrested Tuesday and remain in custody at the Lincoln County Jail.
The investigation remains ongoing and additional arrests or charges could still follow.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
