Moscow Mills, Mo. — A local man is facing a felony domestic assault charge after cellphone video allegedly captured a violent encounter involving a nine-year-old child outside a Moscow Mills residence.
Jesse Lee Dickson, of Moscow Mills, Missouri.

Charge:
• Domestic Assault — 3rd Degree
The incident unfolded outside a home on East 2nd Street where Jesse Lee Dickson allegedly confronted the child in the yard before striking him across the face and kicking him in the leg, causing the child to fall face-first into the grass.
While the child was on the ground, Dickson allegedly continued pushing him by the hands before walking away from the scene.
The child suffers from autism and a developmental delay.
When officers later arrived at the residence, the child reportedly appeared frightened. Officers also documented what they described as excessive trash and animal feces around the property along with a strong odor of urine coming from inside the home.
The investigation began after cellphone video of the incident was reportedly brought to law enforcement earlier in the day. Dickson was later arrested and formally charged in Lincoln County Circuit Court.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
