
Lincoln County Recorder’s Office Announces Fee Increase Beginning Aug. 28

TROY, Mo. — Residents recording legal documents or applying for a marriage license through the Lincoln County Recorder of Deeds Office will see a small increase in fees beginning next month.
Lincoln County Recorder of Deeds Tracy K. Martin announced that a standard $2 increase will apply to all recording fees and marriage licenses beginning Friday, Aug. 28.

The adjustment will affect services provided through the Recorder of Deeds Office, including the recording of documents involving real estate and other official county records.
Residents planning to record documents or obtain a marriage license after the effective date should account for the additional $2 when preparing for those services.
The Recorder’s Office announced the upcoming change in advance to provide residents, businesses and others who regularly use the office time to prepare for the adjustment.

The office is located at 201 Main Street, Suite 203, in Troy.
