TROY, Mo. — A late-night domestic assault investigation at the Troy Inn led to a heavy police presence and a brief multi-agency search Wednesday night, drawing attention from nearby residents as officers worked to locate a suspect who fled during the initial response.

Officers reported the suspect fled the room by jumping from a window, prompting a short search involving multiple agencies before he was located in the parking lot of Bomgaars and taken into custody.
