Troy, Mo. — A Troy man is facing felony charges following an investigation that began as a vehicle repair agreement and later escalated into a criminal case, according to court records.
Court documents show Jonathan Deutsch has been charged with Stealing – Motor Vehicle/Watercraft/Aircraft and Stealing $750 or More, both Class D felonies under Missouri law.

According to the arrest warrant, bond has been set at $10,000 cash only, with no 10 percent option.
The charges stem from allegations that a vehicle was taken under the pretense of repair work and was not returned as agreed. Investigators allege that money was exchanged for parts and repairs, but the vehicle owner later reported that communication stopped and the vehicle was not returned within the expected timeframe.
Law enforcement later located the vehicle at a Troy residence. Following the investigation, the case was submitted to the prosecuting attorney’s office, which filed formal charges.
Deutsch is currently in custody, a status confirmed to Lincoln CountyWatch by the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.
