TROY, MO — A dispute inside a Troy gas station quickly escalated into threats and police intervention, ending with a man taken into custody and now facing new charges.
DILLON MICHAEL HOLLIS

Charges:
Assault – 4th Degree (Misdemeanor C)
Trespassing – 2nd Degree (Infraction)
A warrant has been issued with a $1,000 cash-only bond and a condition of no contact with the victim(s). Hollis is currently in custody. No court date has been scheduled at this time.
Troy Police were dispatched to Hilltop Gas Station on Lincoln Drive after reports of a man refusing to leave the store.
Officers identified the individual as Hollis. Store personnel reported Hollis entered the business and asked to use their phone. When the request was denied, Hollis allegedly became aggressive, demanded the phone, and stated he was part of the “mafia,” threatening physical violence if he did not get it.
An employee removed the phone from Hollis and instructed him to leave. Authorities say he refused multiple requests to exit the store. Police were contacted, and Hollis was taken into custody without further incident.
Recent Lincoln County cases reflect prior convictions involving assault, tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest, and other offenses. Those cases are separate from this incident.
Hollis remains in custody.
Hollis is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
