According to the investigation, Troy Police were dispatched Tuesday night after reports of a silver Dodge Ram driving recklessly on West Wood Street and nearly striking someone.

A resident told officers the truck sped through the neighborhood, made a three-point turn, backed into a fence post damaging it, and then sped away again.

Police later located the truck and identified Dalton Weber as the driver.

During questioning, Weber allegedly told officers another individual had been “talking shit” online and told him to “pull up” so they could fight. Weber admitted he drove to the residence to confront the individual.

When Weber arrived, investigators say multiple people came outside the home. Weber allegedly claimed he did not know several people would be there and said the next thing he remembered was a brick crashing through the passenger window of his truck.

Police later reviewed video from the scene that allegedly showed Dalton Weber swerving the truck toward another individual standing nearby, nearly striking him before driving away.

Authorities also said another video showed Weber outside the residence near his vehicle holding a sledgehammer during the confrontation.

As officers attempted to take Dalton Weber into custody, the situation reportedly escalated further.

Investigators say Cole Weber arrived on scene with several others and became aggressive while officers were attempting to arrest Dalton Weber. Officers allege Cole Weber yelled at police, clenched his fists, pulled away from officers, and ignored repeated commands before being restrained and taken into custody.

Police say Ashton Weber, Payton McCall, and Mckenna Bentley approached officers while arrests were taking place on scene. Officers activated a taser warning and ordered the group to move back approximately 25 feet. According to the report, the group stepped back but allegedly did not move back the full distance officers ordered, leading to additional arrests.

Police say Mckenna Bentley later attempted to pull away from officers and avoid being handcuffed before officers restrained her.

All five defendants were listed as in custody at the time warrants were issued Wednesday.

Under Missouri law, criminal charges are only allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
